I've loved science fiction ever since I won a copy of HG Wells short stories at school. And first realized its power to channel the fertile imagination of a pupil into the written word. That fascination led to a life-long love of science and the English language, with a particular affinity for techno-fiction. I've been inspired by the writings of masters of the craft such as Michael Crichton, and the imaginary brilliance of Jules Verne, all with a firm foundation in the classical authors. If any of that reflects in my writing then I am privileged indeed.

When I'm not writing, you may be find me immersed in far-off galaxies, pondering the next project. Or travelling with family in a more mundane world called Earth. 

Or, if you’re lucky, you may catch me solving real-world problems.
